- The course aims to deepen the knowledge of the relevant moments of Russian cultural history through the diachronic study of oral traditions, folklore and rituals. We will focus on the analysis of the symbology of folklore and folkloric verse; the problem of the evolution of the folkloric genre system up to the present day will be raised.

- The course aims to enrich what the students have already learned during the three-year degree program. The student will acquire a deeper understanding of the linguistic and cultural processes that characterized Russia until the present period.

- Theoretical and historical-literary lectures with special attention to the analysis of the symbolism of folkloric texts.

- To be admitted to the examination, students who did not attend classes must arrange in advance an alternative program with the professor .¿
- Learning verification modality
- The oral exam includes some questions related to the history of folklore, the system of folk genres in its evolution to the themes of the specificity of the poetic and symbolic language of Russian folklore faced during the lessons. The exam also includes reading in the original language, interpretation and oral translation of some texts studied during the course.
