The present course is aimed at providing the basic tools to understand growth process of the most industrialized countries and identify the sources of their international competitiveness and
productivity performance. The focus will be placed upon innovation, defined in terms of deliberate research activities and investment in technologically advanced assets such as ICT, AI and robots
Prerequisites
It is highly advised to get a grounded knowledge of the principles of microeconomics (production theory) and macroeconomics (open economies)
