Extended program
The course analyzes
different fields of research on emergencies, through procedures for processing information and data.
In the case of emergencies, social changes are read through the main fields of transformation: from climate to terrorism, from migration to demography, the conceptualization of emergency is proposed in a critical way. The critical reading deconstructs the main contemporary themes of risk, emergency and threat. In this perspective, information and data management corresponds to the effort to overcome, through methodological rigor, the media narratives relating to some specific emergencies.
Obiettivi Agenda 2030 per lo sviluppo sostenibile
The course considers contexts in which emergencies (such as environmental emergency) show a relationship with the 2030 Agenda (sustainable cities and communities; clean and affordable energy)
