Learning verification modality Written test
Extended program Objective of the statistics and classification of the variables (quantitative and qualitative). Descriptive statistics: representation of data through graphs (pie and bar charts, histograms, frequency polygon, linear graphs, box plot, scatter plot) and tables; measure of central tendency (mean, median, mode) and of variability (variance, standard deviation, range, interquartile range). Probability distributions and meaning and calculation of the confidence intervals. Inferential statistics: stages of the hypothesis testing and statistical errors (type 1 and type 2 errors); statistical tests for quantitative variables (parametric and non-parametric tests for the comparison of two or more groups); statistical tests for qualitative variables; analysis of correlation.
