- During the course, the concepts of hazard, risk and safety will be introduced, and the main hazard exposure situations a geologist may encounter during his or her work will be examined. Risks arising from frequenting potentially hostile natural environments will be considered, as well as risks associated with anthropogenic activities such as quarries and mines.
