The student will also acquire the knowledge relating to the methods of isolation and identification of pathogenic microorganisms using traditional and molecular methods such as PCR and MALDI-TOF spectrometry and to perform susceptibility testing of antimicrobial drugs, particularly in the case of multi-resistant bacteria.
