Contents Elements of General and Applied Hygiene concerning the public health and the control of pathologies. Definition of health and public health, definition and classification of
health determinants. Natural history of disease. Prevention: definition,
aims, levels (primary, secondary and tertiary) and methods. Prevention of
communicable diseases: direct (disinfection, sterilization, notification,
contingency measures, diagnostic assessment, vaccines) and indirect:
health education and promotion and screening.

to analyse population health and needs and to properly use preventive
interventions.

Educational objectives The student will: acquire the main concepts of the cutaneous pathophysiology in obstetrics, to be able to recognize the basic primary and secondary lesions for diagnostic orientation of the most common infectious, inflammatory, immunologic and neoplastic skin and /or mucous diseases in obstetrics.

Learning verification modality Method of carrying out the exam.
The exam includes an oral test lasting 20 minutes divided into two questions. The test is aimed at ascertaining the level of knowledge and understanding achieved by the student on the theoretical and methodological contents indicated in the program. The oral test will also allow you to verify the student's communication skills with language skills and independent organization of the presentation on the same topics with theoretical content.
