Educational objectives The student must know how to evaluate and manage the clinical pictures associated with the main pathologies of medical interest of the respiratory system, know how to make the differential diagnosis, know the aspects of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the main pathologies of medical interest of the respiratory system
Prerequisites Knowledge of anatomy , physiology and respiratory and cardiological pathophysiology.

Learning verification modality Examination: Oral test lasting approximately 15 minutes divided into 2 questions, 1 of which relating to the etiology, diagnosis and management of one of the respiratory diseases included in the exam program and 1 relating to the detailed objective examination of one of the respiratory diseases and on instrumental and laboratory diagnostic investigations. A further question on the minimum necessary knowledge may be asked in the event of an unsatisfactory answer to the 2 previous questions
Verification of clinical skills: ability to correctly collect anamnestic data of respiratory diseases and interpretation of a spirometer or blood gas analysis
Verification of the skills acquired during the internship through accurate description of a diagnostic process for one of the respiratory system diseases
The final grade is the arithmetic average of the grades of the individual disciplines
Extended program General overview and reference to anatomy and physiology to perform the objective examination of the respiratory system and make the diagnosis of respiratory diseases of medical interest
