Contents
Students will acquire the necessary understanding of the notions "culture", "cultural heritage", "economy", "market", "public goods", "meritorious goods", "value", "enhancement", "promotion", ""institutions as a result, they will be able to understand the mission of cultural institutes and the social and market utility inherent in cultural heritage as well as the criteria and methods for defining strategies, products, processes and organizational methods individually and in network aimed at allowing the valorisation of the historical cultural heritage in an effective, efficient and economically sustainable way in the Italian context. They will also acquire similar conceptual acquisitions in relation to profit and non-profit business organizations in the sector. In this way they will have the necessary skills to collaborate in the management of public and private organizations dedicated to the enhancement of historical heritage.

Educational objectives
Students will acquire the necessary understanding of the notions "culture", "cultural heritage", "economy", "market", "public goods", "meritorious goods", "value", "enhancement", "promotion", ""institutions as a result, they will be able to understand the mission of cultural institutes and the social and market utility inherent in cultural heritage as well as the criteria and methods for defining strategies, products, processes and organizational methods individually and in network aimed at allowing the valorisation of the historical cultural heritage in an effective, efficient and economically and socially sustainable way in the Italian context. They will have to acquire the ability to orient themselves in order to profit and non-profit business organizations in the sector. the skills necessary to collaborate in the management of public and private organizations dedicated to the enhancement of the historical heritage for the promotion of knowledge of the artistic heritage also with the aim of reducing educational and social inequalities.

Teaching methods
The prevailing teaching method involves face-to-face classroom lectures aided, when necessary, by multimedia tools; practical exercises, viewing of film-documentaries and in-depth seminars are also provided.

Extended program
The aim will be to train students in communication within artistic bodies (museums, galleries, auction houses, market exhibitions, associations, public bodies), as well as with artistic operators (gallery owners, collectors, intermediaries) in order to effectively confront with the market, enhance the offer, find and satisfy the demand for art in a responsible and socially sustainable way.
