Prerequisites
Geophysics: it is strongly recommended to have attended the Applied Geophysics course and possibly to have successfully passed the exam.
Stratigraphy: at least attending the course of Sedimentology (first year, first semester) and Integrated Stratigraphy (first year, second semester).
Teaching methods

- introductory theoretical-practical lesson in the classroom; Students will be provided with preparatory material, guides, programs and dedicated presentations.
- practical acquisition of stratigraphic, structural and geophysical data in the countryside
- working groups and creation of technical reports in the field

Geophysics: Technical report on the acquisition, processing and interpretation of the acquired data.
Stratigraphy: Fieldtrip guidebook focused on the caracterization of the lithostratigraphic units; stratigraphic log.
Structural Geology: structural data analysis
Extended program

Geophysics: Introduction to fundamental concepts, planning a geophysical campaign: identification of the target, equipment and configuration, selection of stations interval and parameters, identification of noise sources, field data analysis and interpretation, creation of technical geophysical report.
Stratigraphy: Introduction to fundamental concept; planning a sedimentological and stratigraphic field; facies analysis; determination of the sedimentologic and stratigraphic units and their boundaries; depositional enviroment interpretation; technical report.
