Extended program Protocollo Uro-TMCS convenzionale multifasico. Ricostruzioni multiplanari 2D MPR e 3D vr nello studio urografico in TCMS. Aspetti tecnici e metodologici del protocollo SPLIT a doppio e triplo bordo. Principi di Anatomia e Istologia del sistema urinario. Indicazione e modalità di somministrazione ev dei MDC organo-iodati. Studio integrato delle vie urinarie escretrici in TMC, ecografia, RM e Radiologia convenzionale. Ruolo dell'imaging in URO-TMCS nella identificazione e caratterizzazione delle lesioni renali.

Educational objectives Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

Understand the methodological approach to the main nosological conditions of interest in uro-andrology, with particular reference to their relevance to healthcare.
Recognize the signs and symptoms of the main urological and andrological diseases.
Describe the main etiopathogenetic processes and understand their clinical impact.
Formulate an initial healthcare/diagnostic hypothesis based on the nursing assessment.
Identify appropriate diagnostic tests (laboratory, imaging, functional tests) and collaborate with the physician in interpreting the results.
Critically correlate symptoms, physical signs, functional alterations, instrumental findings, and anatomical-pathological aspects of the main urological and andrological diseases.
Know the principles of basic therapeutic treatments in uro-andrology and the related preventive, behavioral, rehabilitative, and dietary guidelines.
Prerequisites We consider as preliminary and acquired the following abilities: • to achieve accurately medical history and symptoms, • to know the most common laboratory tests, to identify biochemical profile’s major alterations and to understand of their clinical significance • to know the main maneuvers of general physical examination (inspection, palpation, percussion and auscultation of the chest and abdomen).
