Programs/Curricula in Italian

 

To be exempt from the Italian language proficiency test, students must hold and submit one of the following Italian language proficiency certifications (at least B2 level) issued within the – CLIQ: (Certificazione Lingua Italiana di Qualità) system:

  • CELI - University for Foreigners of Perugia
  • CILS - University for Foreigners of Siena
  • PLIDA - Dante Alighieri Society
  • Cert.it - Roma Tre University

If the student does not hold one of the aforementioned certifications, they must take the Italian language proficiency test, as specified in point 3) of the page: https://www.unipg.it/en/international-students/becoming-a-unipg-student.

 

Programs/Curricula in English

 

Students must hold and submit one of the following English language proficiency certifications:

 

ACCEPTED B1 ENGLISH CERTIFICATIONS (FOR BACHELOR’S PROGRAMS)

  • Cambridge ESOL: (PET Preliminary English Test, BEC Preliminary)
  • Gatehouse Awards: GA Entry Level Certificate in ESOL International (Entry 3 - Classic B1),
  • IELTS Exam: 4.0-5.0
  • LanguageCert International ESOL (Written + Spoken exams): LanguageCert International ESOL B1 Achiever
  • PEARSON TEST OF ENGLISH (PTE General): Level 2
  • TOEFL (iBT): 42-71
  • Trinity ISE: 1
  • University of Oxford: Oxford Test of English B1 (Oxford ELLT exam is not accepted)

ACCEPTED B2 ENGLISH CERTIFICATIONS (FOR MASTER’S PROGRAMS)

  • Cambridge ESOL: IGCSE - International General certificate for Secondary Education
  • Gatehouse Awards: GA Level 1 Certificate in ESOL International (Classic B2)
  • IELTS Exam: 5.5-6.5
  • LanguageCert International ESOL (Written + Spoken exams): LanguageCert International ESOL B2 Communicator
  • PEARSON TEST OF ENGLISH (PTE General): Level 3
  • TOEFL (iBT): 72-94
  • Trinity ISE: 2
  • University of Oxford: Oxford Test of English B2 (Oxford ELLT exam is not accepted)

Duolingo test is not accepted. A certificate/letter stating that the student’s medium of instruction is English (MOI) is not accepted.
