Contents |
The course aims to provide a range of technical knowledge necessary for the rational use of materials in various applications by delving in particular the correlation between the macroscopic properties of materials and their structure. The program includes an introduction to the relationship between materials, classification of materials and their fundamental properties. The characteristics of different materials will be addressed and basic design procedures described, as well as possible technologies that can be used based on materials chosen and the desired product. |
