Educational objectives Promote interprofessional and organizational integration processes. Stimulate reflection on the role of the Rehabilitation Professional within the Team and the Organization. Analyze the role of Rehabilitation within the Health System in light of the current socio-economic and regulatory context.
Prerequisites Fundamental elements of healthcare management, with reference to organizational, economic, and legal aspects.
Teaching methods Face-to-face teaching with presentation of theoretical concepts, integrated with interactive debriefing to foster reflection and discussion.

Learning verification modality Preparation and discussion of a written paper (maximum 10 pages), to be submitted 5 days prior to the exam. The paper should provide a critical analysis of organizational aspects in the field of rehabilitation, as discussed during the course and applied to the student's own professional context.

Contents The course will address the fundamental themes of Social Psychology starting from the presentation of the main theories and illustrating their applications to the main phenomena of human-social behavior. Particular emphasis will be given to the application of the main constructs of social psychology in the field of rehabilitation sciences

Educational objectives The objectives of the course are defined as follows with reference to the following domains:
Knowledge and understanding:
to allow the student to know the basic principles of social psychology, the main models of the discipline that explain people's attitudes, thoughts, and social behavior.
Application of knowledge: to allow the student to acquire skills in psychosocial reading of events related to human functioning (stereotypes, prejudices, group relations, conformism, social influence) to be applied to the field of rehabilitation sciences.
Autonomy of judgment: the student will be able to integrate the knowledge acquired at a theoretical level with the specificity of concrete cases for the understanding of human functioning.
Communication: the student will acquire specific terminology that will allow him/her to communicate with specialist (and non-specialist) interlocutors in the sector and/or in an interdisciplinary manner.
Ability to learn: the student will develop the competence in independent study and research of specialized material in the sector also and through the use of bibliographic research in sector databases, and psychosocial research. At the end of the course, students are expected to use the specialized language of the discipline with mastery and to have acquired the main theoretical paradigms and methodological assumptions underlying psychosocial behavior. A further expected objective is the ability to recognize the main motivational and cognitive processes that can occur in social interaction.
Prerequisites In order to understand the theoretical intervention models proposed in class, it is important that the student has listening and comprehension skills.

Contents The course explores in depth the sociological concepts of work and organization, with particular reference to the managerial role and its impact on the well-being of people at work, organizational safety and worker motivation.
The sociological contents will focus on the organizational aspects of well-being, safety and motivation at work and in organizations, through an in-depth examination of the following topics:
- Theories of organization and development of organizational models: From the concept of organization as "machine" to the new explanatory paradigms; Historical evolution of organizational studies); the concept of health and well-being in organizations; motivation and satisfaction at work.
- Communication and training: social role and strategic aims of communication; training in human resources management.
- Leadership and negotiation skills: collaboration, competition, deviance and conflict.

Educational objectives The course provides an opportunity in the two-year course to learn about the sociology approach to economic and labour processes within healthcare management and. It is also a fundamental objective of the course to provide students with the bases and tools to deal with a transversal discourse on the management and valorisation of human resources.
The course aims to provide sociological tools useful for developing managerial skills in rehabilitation health professionals. Emphasis is placed on an interdisciplinary approach with in-depth studies on the areas of interest in healthcare management.
The main knowledge acquired concerns: the structural and cultural dimension of organisations, the management and valorisation of human resources, organisational communication and professional training, health and wellbeing in organisations, psycho-social risks at work.
The main skills (i.e. the ability to apply the acquired knowledge) will be related to leadership skills in human resources management and development.
Prerequisites In order to be able to better understand the contents developed during the course the student (attending and not attending) must know the theoretical fundamentals of general sociology.
Teaching methods Classroom lesson 5Or in Microsoft Teams). In-depth e-learning on the unistudium platform. Video projections. In-depth seminars (where possible).

Learning verification modality The examination only includes the final oral test, which consists of a discussion/interview relating to the topics covered during the course and explored in depth in the texts and materials indicated. The test serves to ascertain the student's level of knowledge and ability to comprehend and synthesise. The interview will verify the student's ability to communicate what he/she has acquired with method, properties of language and exposition. The duration of the examination varies according to the progress of the test itself and sometimes begins with a question of the student's choice on a topic chosen by the student.

In the event that the student intends to sit the exam in a year prior to the year scheduled in the study plan, it is recommended that he or she attends the cycle of lectures and takes the exam in the first useful call after the lectures have ended, thus respecting the semester of the teaching programme.

- Communication and training: Social role and strategic aims of communication and training; training in human resources management.
