Learning verification modality Oral-exam lasting about 15 minutes divided into 2 questions and an additional question about the minimum essential knowledge can be asked in the case of an unsatisfactory answer to the two previous questions.

Contents Introduction to the main speech therapy assessment methodologies for the assessment of the communicative and linguistic competences on children affected by hypoacusis. This will help to develop a precise speech therapy programme within a global rehabilitation project. Introduction to rehabilitation methodologies and analysis of guidelines in relation to hypoacusis children.
Reference texts materials provided in the classroom by the teacher with reference to some texts such as: la presa in carico logopedica in età evolutiva, il protocollo di videoanalisi
Educational objectives The main aims of this teaching is to provide to student:
• Diagnostic method of deafness
• Perceptive and auditory skill in the child and evaluations tools
• The role of the speechterapist in the diagnostic time e abilitation project
• Main caratteristics of language in the deafness
Prerequisites In order to be able to understand and to know the content of the course, students must have the basic notions of language development in the baby and ear anatomy.
Teaching methods Theoretical lessons and practical exercises

• dvd showing about specific argome
Learning verification modality Written test with open questions
The final test is written test with three open teorical questions and discussion of clinical case.
Also is possible to take oral test with open questions.
Extended program Speech assessment, speech anamnesis Test of the communicative ability: individual communicative profile in relation to age and socio-cultural level. Assessment of perceptive and auditive capacities. Assessment of all communicative abilities and linguistic competences: articulatory and phonetic, semantic and lexical, morpho-syntactical and pragmatic. Assessment protocols and specific tests.
