Description of chemical and biological wastewater treatment processes.
Overview of the different methods and technologies used to control the release of air pollutants from urban and industrial sources.

Appropriate methods of storage, collection, transfer, treatment and disposal of solid wastes for industrialised and developing countries.

Acquisition of skills in the field of waterwaste and air emission monitoring and purification, and of waste protection and management techniques.
