To deepen some peculiar aspects of nutrition and feeding of the main animal species of livestock, taking into account the specific biochemical-digestive-metabolic and safety aspects.
In particular, the knowledge relating to feed management and the choice of ingredients in the formulation of the ration will be deepened and the nutritional and feed aspects capable of influencing animal health and quantitative-qualitative productivity will be examined.- Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of animal nutrition and feeding.- Teaching methods
Frontal theoretical lessons: in the classroom or with distance learning, with illustration of ppt presentations.
Practical lesson: in the classroom or on the farm, if possible.- Other information
Diet formulation using xls sheets.- Learning verification modality
Oral exam, lasting about 30-40 minutes, aimed at ascertaining the student's level of knowledge, the language property and the ability to connect the topics.
Alternatively, the opportunity of ascertaining the knowledge acquired by the student through the discussion of a ppt presentation will be evaluated.- Extended program
