| Educational objectives | The teaching allows the student to have a broad knowledge of the subject (Pathological Anatomy) as well as the purposes of diagnostic testing, anatomical-clinical methods, procedures for collecting biological materials (collection, conservation, fixation and sending of cytological preparations, biopsies and surgical specimens). The main objective of the teaching is to provide students with the basis for an adequate knowledge of the main neoplastic and non-neoplastic pathologies of the systems indicated in the attached program. The main skills include: 1. Knowledge and ability to understand the different neoplastic and non-neoplastic pathologies in Pathological Anatomy. 2. Ability to apply the methodologies in diagnostic testing and in the analysis of different cytological and tissue samples. 3. Autonomy of judgment, communication skills and ability to learn the knowledge and problems related to the subject. |
| Prerequisites | The knowledge and skills deemed necessary for a successful learning of the subject require knowledge of the general notions relating to Human Anatomy and Histology. |
| Teaching methods | The delivery method of Module 1 includes classroom lessons supported, where necessary, by multimedia tools regarding all the topics specified in the attached program. Assessment paths, materials and/or methodologies consistent with the needs of disabled and/or DSA students are planned". For information on support services for students with disabilities and/or DSA, visit the page http://www.unipg.it/disabilita-e-dsa |
| Other information | For any need the Teacher will be able to receive the students upon request for an appointment sent by e-mail. guido.bellezza@unipg.it |
| Learning verification modality | The exam procedure for Module 1 involves passing an oral test with questions relating to the topics covered in class and specified in the attached program. Assessment paths, materials and/or methodologies consistent with the needs of disabled and/or DSA students are planned".
