Contents Introduction to the sources of labour law.
Freedom of trade union association, trade union organisation, representativeness, trade union activity, RSU/RSA, collective bargaining, self-help (autotutela), the right to strike, lockout, repression of anti-union conduct.
Subordinate employment and the powers of the employer, rights of the employee, working time and discrimination, self-employment, dismissals, limitation periods for wage claims, waivers and settlement agreements.

Extended program Introduction to the national and European sources of labour law.
Analysis of Article 39 of the Constitution and of the principle of trade union freedom. In-depth study of trade union organisation, representativeness, and trade union activity. Study of forms of workers’ representation in the workplace (RSU/RSA) and of collective bargaining. Examination of forms of self-help (autotutela) and of Article 28 of the Workers’ Statute concerning the repression of anti-union conduct.
Study of the legal framework of subordinate employment and of the powers vested in the employer, as well as the rights of the subordinate employee. In-depth analysis of working time and discrimination. Analysis of the legal framework of self-employment. Examination of the regulation of dismissals (just cause, subjective justified reason, objective justified reason, and collective dismissals), as well as of the limitation period for wage claims, waivers, and settlement agreements.
