2. The network of mental health services, the Mental Health Department, the Mental Health Centre, the Psychiatric Diagnosis and Treatment Service, the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Facilities
3. Integrated models of intervention in psychiatry, Specificity of teamwork in Psychiatry
4. Psychiatric Rehabilitation and the Personalized Rehabilitation Therapeutic Project
4. The nursing reception of the request for intervention in psychiatry
5. Health education and patient motivation strategies for change.
6. Assistance to the patient in Compulsory Health Treatment and in Compulsory Health Assessment
6. The therapeutic relationship and assistance strategies in promoting the patient's compliance
7. Early detection, prevention and management of aggression
8. Application of the specific nursing care process to mental health needs, use of the NANDA taxonomy in the identification of nursing diagnoses. and deepening of the appropriate intervention strategies inspired by the international classification system NIC

Educational objectives To acquire basic knowledge of the main psychiatric disorders, and to develop relational and communication skills that facilitate the approach to patients by taking into account their mental health conditions, in order to provide effective, empathetic, and personalized nursing care.
Prerequisites To understand the topics covered, the student must have knowledge of the psychology and pharmacology.
