The course aims to provide the student with the basic knowledge to orient himself in the professional field of Fitness and Wellness, with reference to the activities that can be proposed in fitness centers, sports clubs, centers / recreational contexts. The different equipment will be examined, methods most used to meet the main needs of users/customers in order to promote good health. |

THE THEORETICAL PART WILL BE CARRIED OUT IN THE CLASSROOM (VIRTUAL OR IN PRESENCE), WHILE THE PRACTICAL PART WILL BE CARRIED OUT IN THE GYM. THE TEACHING MATERIAL WILL BE DELIVERED DURING THE COURSE AND UPLOADED ON THE UNISTUDIUM PLATFORM. Learning objectives The course aims to provide the student with the basic knowledge to orient himself in the professional field of Fitness and Wellness, with reference to the activities that can be proposed in fitness centers, sports clubs, centers / recreational contexts. The different equipment will be examined, methods most used to meet the main needs of users/customers in order to promote good health. Expected learning outcomes The student, at the end of the course, must have acquired BASIC knowledge related to: - classification, specificity and nomenclature of the proposed exercises in relation to the various muscle groups and joint districts; - Basic knowledge of the structure of music in fitness (importance of coordination skills) - Ability to manage a group activity. |

By the end of this course, students will be able to: 1) Describe the fundamental components of cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal, and neuromotor fitness; 2) Identify the optimal quantity and quality of exercise for each fitness component in healthy adults; 3) Apply evidence-based guidelines for individualised exercise prescription; 4) Design exercise interventions tailored to individual needs and characteristics, ensuring safety and effectiveness. |
