Contents
This course provides a comprehensive overview of the theories, concepts, and applications relevant to the study of consumer behaviour. Students will gain an understanding of the psychological, social, and cultural factors that influence how individuals select, buy, use, and dispose of goods and services to satisfy their needs and desires.

Educational objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

- Explain the importance of studying consumer behaviour for marketing strategy and public policy.

- Analyze the main theoretical frameworks used to understand consumer actions.

- Identify and evaluate the role of internal (psychological) and external (sociological) factors in the consumption process.

- Map the stages of the consumer decision-making process for different product types.

- Apply consumer behaviour concepts to real-world marketing challenges.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of marketing and business management is required to understand the topics covered in this course.

Learning verification modality
The exam consists of a written test with open-ended questions. For the purpose of the final evaluation, the results of the discussion of a project work concerning the topics covered in the course are also considered. Students may choose to voluntarily undertake and present this project work during the course.
