Contents
The course will analyze some of the of clashes as well as the material and cultural exchanges in the Mediterranean area during the Early Modern Age.
Reference texts
Attending students: Bibliographical references and historical sources will be indicated during the course. Non attending students: contact prof. Lupi
Educational objectives
The course aims to provide students with an analytical and critical method of study to history of Mediterranean area; it will provide them with tools for a better understanding of the contemporary world.
Prerequisites
1. Excellent knowledge of the Italian language 2. Knowledge of historical periodization, with particular reference to Early Modern Age 3. Knowledge of physical and political geography.
