- Contents
- The Sociology of Territory: Definition and Theories Thematic insights, also supported by specific seminars, will focus on topics of particular interest, including: territoriality and territorialization; culture and local identity; material and immaterial values; narration and promotion of the territory. Particular attention will be given to the processes involved in constructing the territorial image and the related narrative dynamics.

- Educational objectives
- Facilitate the development of a critical understanding of the territory as the result of a complex adaptive process, characterized by the dynamic and co-evolutionary relationship between communities and their environment. Emphasize the pivotal role of narration in shaping territorial development policies, and promote awareness of development as a fundamentally narrative and relational process.

- Attendance is not mandatory but it is recommended
- Learning verification modality
- The exam includes an oral test and a project work realized independently or in groups (maximum two students) for attending students ONLY. The oral exam is a discussion lasting about 20 minutes which is intended to assess the level of knowledge and understanding achieved by students on the contents specified in the program.
