- The course will focus on the transformation of law in the information society, and to study the legal concept of information in the italian legal system and in the supranational law. The information as good, as right and as a possible threat to other rights. Part of it will be devoted to the search for law online.

Mastering the informatics tools applied to the law. - Prerequisites
- Essential to face the course is literacy to computing and internet usage. It is important to know the main bibliographic search tools in the network.

- After sustained midway through the course a practical research of law, jurisprudence and doctrine in the network (no longer than 20' in the informatics lab), at the end of the course attending students may be evalueted on the basis of individual seminars on topics related (not more than 20' of oral exposure on an essay of no more than 20000 characters).
Non-attending students will take a written exam with open questions in 60'.
The practical test for attending students and the written test for students not attending are aimed to verify the specific skills in applying information technology to the law practice. Individual seminars for students attending are aimed at verifying the knowledge on the impact of technology on society and on the law and to stimulate their critical thinking skills. - Extended program
- The course will focus on the transformation of law in the information society with particular attention to the communication codes of legal language and computer language, the impact of technology on the development, interpretation and the study of law. Part of the course will be devoted to the classification criteria and the search for law online.
