Omestasis . Mechanisms of omeostatic control: negative and positive feed-back. Cellular communication: autocrine, paracrine, nervous and endocrine.
Central and peripheral nervous system.
Physiology of endocrine system: chemistry of the hormones, mechanisms of synthesis, secretion and action endocrine glands.
Ipothalamus, hypophysis, pancreas, thyroid, parathyroid glands, adrenal glands, sexual glands. Physiology of the reproduction.
Nutrition and growth. Physiology of gastro-intestinal system: motility, secretion, digestion and absorption. Physiology of the digestive organs and accessory glands.
