- Knowledge of elementary subatomic Physics concepts
- Prerequisites
- It is essential to have coursed lectures in Calculus, mathematical methods for Physics, General Physics.
The knowledge of elementary Quantum Mechanics is very useful. - Teaching methods
- face-to-face lectures; occasional use of audiovisual materal
- Learning verification modality
- Oral exam, consisting on an exercise taken from a list provided to the students during the lectures, aimet at
establishing the acquisition of technical skills,
and in a following oral discussion, during which two additional questions are asked, to verify the level of understanding
of the subject. The exam has a total duration of one hour. - Extended program
- Elementary Scattering theory, nuclear phenomenology, simple nuclear and hadronic structure models, nuclear decays, introduction to particle Physics concepts,
applications of Nuclear and subnuclear Physics.
