- Educational objectives
- Knowledge of basic linear algebra. Problem solving in plane and solid analytic geometry.
- Prerequisites
A certain degree of interest in mathematical problems. Real knowledge of maths taught at secondary school.- Teaching methods
- Theoretical lectures and practical training. In each lesson half time will be dedicated to problems solutions.
- Other information
- For other information, please contact the professor directly.
- Learning verification modality
- The exam includes a written test and an oral test. The written test consists of the solution of exercises and the answer to theoretical questions. The test lasts no more than 180 minutes. It is aimed to verify the ability to solve problems relating to the topics of the course. Moreover it tests the ability to communicate in written form. The oral exam consists of a discussion that lasts about 20 minutes. It is aimed to test the level of knowledge and understanding reached by the student on the theoretical and methodological contents that is indicated in the program. The oral test is going to verify student communication concerning the correct register used. And also the autonomous organization during the oral report on the same theoretical topics. The all test is focused to check: the ability to know and understand, the ability to apply the skills acquired, the ability of the oral report, the ability to learn and develop solutions in an autonomy judgment.
