- The course introduces the student to the basic principles of constructing graphic interfaces and intuitive and easy-to-use applications. The basics of Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and User Experience (UX) will be illustrated.

- Educational objectives
- The course aims to introduce the student to the issues related to human-machine interaction (HCI) and the presentation of guidelines for the creation of effective and easy-to-use interfaces.The course deals with the topic of User Centered Design, essential for providing modern services, including those in the mobile environment.At the end of the course the student will have focused on the salient problems inherent in human-machine interaction and will be able to design intuitive and effective interfaces.

- Teaching methods
- Lectures using multimedia tools (slides, video, etc). Exercise in the computer room.
- Other information
- The teacher may deliver classes, labs and exams in Italian, French and Spanish.The teacher is available at adopting during the exam the following languages: Italian, French and Spanish
- Learning verification modality
- The exam includes an oral examination of about 30 minutes in which the student must demonstrate the mastery of the required concepts, an adequate property of language and the ability to organize the concepts to be exhibited in an appropriate manner.
- Extended program
- The course introduces the student to the basic principles of constructing graphic interfaces and intuitive and easy-to-use applications. The course topics are as follows: Introduction to HCI; The principles of Lean Consumption; Evolution of interfaces and human machine interaction; Design User Centered (DUC) and User Experience (UX); UX in detail; Usability; Visual Design; Emotional design. Creation of an HCI interface (exam project).
