Educational objectives
The main objective of the teaching is to provide students with the methodology, tools and techniques of the Professional Social Service in the work aimed at individuals, groups and the community.
In particular:
- Provide knowledge of the methodology and professional techniques used in the field of social services to the person, in working with the community
local, with groups, with single users and social networks.
- Deepen the aspects relating to the documentation of social work.
- Acquire technical and operational skills in the use of professional tools.
Prerequisites
In order to be able to understand and apply the topics of the course it is necessary that the students have successfully taken and passed the exam of Methods and Techniques of the Social Service I.
Teaching methods
The course is organized in:
- Frontal and online lessons on the topics covered by the study program
- Seminar activities on specific topics
- Methodological in-depth workshops and guided discussions that will favor joint paths with the course of Service Methods and Techniques

- Exercises with active teaching methods such as: group work, simulations of operational situations, processing of professional materials, vision of
visual material
Learning verification modality
The final exam may include both written and oral tests.
