- In order to be able to understand and apply the topics described within the course it is important to have knowledge of biochemistry, physiology, animal nutrition and breeding (poultry, swine, ruminants).

- Learning is verified by:
a) written exam for “Nutrition and Feeding I”, consisting of n. 30 multiple choice questions (each correct answer: 1 point; minimum grade to pass the exam: 18/30) - contributes 30% of the final evaluation;
b) formulation of a ration for mono- or poligastric animals using an electronic spreadsheet (no errors: vote 26-30 / 30; one or more non-serious errors: vote 18-25/30; one or more serious errors: test not passed) - contributes 30% of the final evaluation;
c) oral interview on the topics of both modules (“Nutrizione e Alimentazione Animale I” and “Nutrizione e Alimentazione Animale II”) associated with a practical test of recognition of raw materials and feeds (5-7 questions) - contributes 40% of the final grade. - Extended program
