The course deals with the fundamental themes of descriptive geometry applied to the needs of the representation of space in the digital age. The main objective of the course is to favor the development of design as an architectural form of thought. In this sense, the course aims to provide the ability to transpose three-dimensional entities in two-dimensional representations and vice versa, and to weld the theoretical concepts, which form the basis of the design, to its practical implementation, in order to allow management, ideative and cognitive, of the processes of transformation / conservation of the architectural and environmental reality.

Educational objectives
The course aims to provide the student with critical skills and competences on the themes of architectural representation both through traditional techniques and through infographics techniques. In line with this general aim, the course's primary objective is the experimentation of the operative possibilities of the computer tool in the expression of architectural thinking and in the management of the various phases of the design process , relative to Interior Design, Exhibit Design, Retail Design or Product Design.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of computer systems for graphic design.
Teaching methods
Theoretical lessons and practical exercises.
Other information

Learning verification modality
The exam consists of an oral test that focuses on the products produced and the techniques used to make them. Registration for the exam is scheduled through the IT service of the On Line Secretariat (SOL) activated by the University of Perugia (https://www.segreterie.unipg.it/self/gissweb.home).
