Contents
The main contents of the course revolve around an overall overview of the essential aspects of Italian public law, through an understanding of the issues relating to the constitutional order, the organization and structure of public authorities and the relationship between public and private entities. The fundamental institutions of public law will be adequately investigated with a particular focus on the sources of Italian and European Union law as well as on the reciprocal relations between the State, Regions and the European Union. The organization and handling of said contents reflect the purpose of providing learners with knowledge of the main legal issues and the related linguistic mastery to develop skills for in-depth analysis and critical reflection.

Educational objectives
The course aims to provide a general knowledge of the principles and functioning of the Italian legal system, with particular reference to the system of fundamental freedoms and rights, in the light of the most recent socio-institutional developments.

The course takes place with frontal teaching parts and parts in in-depth seminars.

Learning verification modality
The exam takes place in oral form. In the event that the pandemic emergency continues, the provision of teaching and the verification of learning will take place in a mixed modality.
