Global Change (third edition) 2013 Elsevier Inc; (2) Jacobson, Charlson, Rodhe, Orians - Earth System Science - Educational objectives
- The main aim of the teaching is to provide students with the basis for an understanding of the biogeochemical cycles which determine the chemical structure and the fluxes of matter and energy between the main spheres (atmosphere, lithosphere, biosphere, idrosphere). Discussion of the basic environmental issues from a cheical perspective
- Prerequisites
- In order to be able to understand the concept developed in the course you must have gain the fundamental aspects of General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry
- Teaching methods
- Face to face lessons; lectures on all subjects of the course
- Other information
- none
- Learning verification modality
- The exam is an oral interview of about 30 minutes aiming at ascertain the knowledge level and the understanding capability acquired by the student on theoretical and methodological contents as indicated in the programme.
