- The 3 year traineeship experience is designed to promote in students the consolidation and advancement of the skills of the 1st and 2nd year and to develop new ones in particular the acquisition of care autonomy.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES RELATED TO THE ASSISTIVE FUNCTION
- Establish a relationship with the assisted person and the reference persons by adapting the communication, taking into account their reactions to the health problem, treatment, treatment contexts and refraining from judgements.
- To identify the nursing care needs of the assisted person at medium/high complexity, assessing the level of autonomy in relation to the health problem and the therapeutic diagnostic path, the prognosis, his life plan.

Guided Internship : is an experience between equals: the student of the third year will support the students of the first year. After being prepared for such a role, the student will allow:
- Facilitating the integration of first-year students into the operational structure
- Guide in understanding the functions of various components of the care team, the aims of the facility and the priority problems of the patients it deals with.
- Help to adopt, in all circumstances, relevant occupational risk prevention systems for the protection of their own and others' safety
- Support in the experimentation of the professional relationship with the assisted person, family members/caregivers
Debriefing :is a privileged opportunity for students and tutors to reflect on the internship experience and to explore the learning opportunities experienced by students. They are aimed at supporting the student in the critical evaluation of:
- Assessment strategies and choices of procedures, clinical reasoning and care decisions
- Management and management skills of a small group of persons assisted
- Activated strategies for insertion in a clinical context in situations of urgency or high emotional impact.
Discussion of Clinical Cases: the student is asked to develop a written paper aimed at highlighting the student’s ability to argue a welfare problem. The student in the development of the case will have to define the problem by highlighting the signs and symptoms of the assisted person, describing the physiopathological mechanisms, the modalities of onset and evolution and the care strategies obtained in the literature. - Other information
