Learning verification modality The exam includes the final oral test of a discussion-interview on the topics discussed during the course and examinaed in review. Assessment tests are used to detect:
1. mastery of disciplinary language;
2. ability to contextualize the educational problems.
Extended program Investigation and reflection matters (aptitude for problematization and reflexivity in processes and practices), are going to be the places, the timesand the instruction contexts, formation, education and learning in order that the students can starts care processes, individual and community grouwth and development. In this persective,

Educational objectives The essential aim of the teaching is to provide the students with useful concepts to the basic knowledge of the discipline. The most important acquired skills are about:

- The diagnostic system in Psychiatry

- The Psychiatric Semiotics (perceptual, thought, memory, attention and mood disorders, disorders of consciousnees, learning disabilities) in pregancy and puerperium

- Clinical Psychiatry (Schizophrenia and Psychotic Disorders. Depressive Disorders. Bipolar and Related Disorders. Anxiety Disorders. Feeding and Eating Disorders. Personality Disorders) in pregnancy and puerperium
Prerequisites In order to understand the contents of the teaching and to reach the learning aims, it is necessary to have passed with success the 1st year exam “ demoethnoanthropological”.

Psychology of Relationship”.

Furthermore, the knowledge of physiology and physiopathology is required in order to understand the topics introduced in the lectures.

These points represent important prerequisites.
Teaching methods The teaching is divided into lectures about the above mentioned topics and clinical cases.

Learning verification modality The exam is divided into:

- an oral test: a 15 minutes discussion for the assessment of the acquired knowledge of the student.

- a written test: there will be three sessions (summer, fall and winter sessions); the test is based on the appropriateness of the theoretical knowledge and of the capability in understanding and differentiate. In particular, it is composed by 15 multiple choice questions (n. 3). The test will be passed with 9 right questions. Average test time: 20 minutes.

Educational objectives Conoscere i paradigmi di studio del comportamento umano, del comportamento genitoriale e implicazione sullo sviluppo del bambino, e della relazione traidica madre-bambino-padre. Essere in grado di valutare e di intervenire nelle emergenze psicologiche che la donna può presentare durante la gravidanza e la preparazione al parto, in epoca perinatale, in caso di lutto. Sapere impostare dei progetti di prevenzione nell’ottica della Psicologia della Salute.

Educational objectives The student must acquire knowledge and understanding of the General principles relating to infectious diseases and sexually transmitted diseases. Must acquire knowledge applied to nursing profiles within the prevention for the expectant mother, the couple and the product of conception. The student must also acquire gradual autonomy in applying guidelines to prevent the spread of HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. Must also know all sanitary procedures for preventing the spread of pathogens in the course of obstetric gynecological procedures and childbirth assistance.
