Educational objectives
The first part of the course deals with basic plants genetics: structure and functions of the hereditary material, how it is transmitted, how it changes. In the second part, the student will learn the importance of the genome, of the function of genes and of the biotechnological progress made in the vine in recent years. Particular emphasis will be given to applications of new technologies for the development of a modern viticulture capable of quickly and effectively responding to the stresses.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of Botany and Organic chemistry.
Teaching methods
Theoretical lectures and practical applications.
Other information
Good knowledge of the English Language.
Learning verification modality
The exam is oral.
