Contents
The most important diseases of the oral cavity of domestic animal species are described. ¿In particular periodontal disease in dogs and cats is examined. Furthermore, the principles of endodontics and orthodontics are discussed.¿¿The techniques of dental extraction and treatment of traumatic and neoplastic lesions of the oral cavity are described.¿PROGRAMPractical lessons:¿practical activities are carried out on clinical cases arriving at the veterinary teaching hospital, Taking into consideration:Dental anatomy and phisiology. Nomenclature. The dental patient. Periodontal disease. Stomatitis and Forl. Extractions. Endodontics and orthodontics. Orthopaedics surgery of the mandible and maxilla.Tumours. Dental diseases of unconventional animal species.¿Practical lessons:¿practical activities are carried out on clinical cases arriving at the veterinary teaching hospital.
