- The candidate must be able to carry out a correct diagnostic path within the main neoplastic conditions of companion animals.
- Prerequisites
- The candidate must have followed the course of Veterinary Surgical Clinic I
- Teaching methods
- The student will carry out practical exercises on cadavers, independently but under the supervision of the teacher, the main procedures imparted during the course. The main knowledge acquired will be those focused above all on the evaluation of the patient (medical history and signaling), the diagnostic procedure to be followed and the surgical planning to be implemented.
The main skills (ie the ability to apply the acquired knowledge) will be the acquisition by the student of practically managing cases of oncology in small animals from diagnosis to surgical therapy. - Learning verification modality
- Final discussion with the students. Preparation of power points about previously assigned clinical cases, in order to assess the methods of approach to the clinical case and the knowledge acquired during ADE in relation to etiopathogenesis, diagnosis, and therapy
