- Contents
- The course deals with products for regenerative medicine, the branch of human and veterinary medicine aimed at the regeneration of damaged cells, tissues and organs, through the development of approaches based on the use of biological products. In the last decade these therapies have found wide diffusion in the veterinary medical field. The course will provide basic knowledge on mesenchymal stem / stromal cells, on their isolation and manipulation in vitro, on platelet derivatives, on biomaterials and their integration with products for regenerative medicine, on cell derivatives usable for regenerative applications.
- Reference texts
- Didactic material and scientific papers provided by the teacher.
- Educational objectives
- The course aims to provide the basic principles of the preparation, management and use of stem cells and other products for regenerative medicine. The student will acquire the autonomy of judgment, critical, communicative and learning skills necessary.
