Extended program Understanding the cognitive and affective aspects that come into play when a child meets a doctor, a nurse, a rehabilitation therapist is of utmost importance in order to establish the best possible therapeutic alliance with the child and his/her family. In this course, human psychological development will be described in its essentials, from classical theories to applied aspects, with the aim of providing the indispensable basic knowledge needed by health professionals who find themselves working in close contact with children.
