Educational objectives
Knowledge of the basic elements of Industrial Microbiology completes and enhances the training of a graduate in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies. The course aims to illustrate to the student the processes and principles underlying the microbial production of metabolites of industrial interest and their use in pharmaceutical biotechnology.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of microbiology, biochemistry and mathematics.
Teaching methods
Lectures, written and oral tests.
