Contents The teaching of prosthetic technologies allows to acquire the biological, logical and clinical principles in the definition of a correct prosthetic treatment plan. The main therapeutic modalities, together with the clinical and laboratory principles necessary for their application, will be illustrated during the lectures to the students of the course. For fixed and removable dentures, both partial and total, the advantages, disadvantages and execution procedures will be discussed.

Educational objectives The student of the course will have to acquire the ability to perform a correct prosthetic treatment plan, evaluating both advantages and disadvantages of each therapeutic solution.
He must also be able to perform a correct and complete aesthetic analysis of the patient, both analog and digital. He will have to know both clinical and laboratory procedures of the most common prosthetic rehabilitations and acquire language properties and specific exposure of the discipline.
Prerequisites -Knowledge of the biomechanical principles of masticatory function-
-Knowledge of the anatomy of dental elements and muscles of mastication
Teaching methods The course includes lectures held by the responsible teacher and a series of seminars in the presence of dental technicians specifically aimed at individual prosthetic rehabilitations.
