The first part is devoted to the study of politics and of its main concepts; in particular we will focus on the following topics: the concentration of the political power (the State, the democratic systems, the non-democratic forms of government, the post-state form of authority); the relationship between people and politics (the political socialisation, the political participation, ideologies, the political culture, public opinion and the political communication); the relationship between society and politics (lobbies, social movements, political parties, elites); the new configurations of politics (forms of government: from government to governance; the bureaucracy: from the perspective of Weber to the New Public Management; the political scenario of the XXI century).
In the second part four specific topics will be dealt with: anti-politics; digital political parties; the results of the last Italian national elections; Italian populism.
