The slides and materials used during the course are an integral part of the programme and will be uploaded to Unistudium. - Educational objectives
- - The course aims to pursue the following training objectives
- get to know the main theoretical and research references related to the concept of self and then social, environmental and economic sustainability
- to know the main educational research in the field of prevention, empowerment and sustainable development
- experience some narrative tools and practices to mobilise competences for sustainability (Unesco 2019) in an eco-social transition perspective - Prerequisites
- No particular prerequisites are necessary
- Teaching methods
- The teaching method used will be predominantly that of participatory action research (RAP). Cooperative work is planned. Seminars and show lectures will be provided during the lessons to facilitate learning and to deepen research methodologies and tools.
- Other information
- For information on support services for students with disabilities and/or DSA, visit http://www.unipg.it/disabilita-e-dsa
"In the event that the student intends to anticipate the exam in a year prior to the one scheduled in the study plan, it is recommended to attend the lecture series and take the exam in the first useful call after the lectures themselves are finished, thus respecting the semester of the teaching schedule."
For Erasmus students, please arrange the course with the professor, who will take into account the language skills possessed. - Learning verification modality
- The final examination will consist of an oral interview in which the following will be assessed:
1. the exhaustiveness of the knowledge achieved about each of the proposed instruments
2. the correctness of the language specific to the scientific domain
3. the correctness of exposition in terms of logical, syntactic and grammatical construction
4. the ability to correctly identify national and international theoretical references
5. Critical thinking and the ability to compare possible methodological options in the educational field - Extended program
- The course starts by problematising a challenge proposed by Unesco "Educating for global citizenship" while remaining human. It asks whether in a world devastated by climate change and deeply dependent on technological devices it is possible to teach the beauty and fragility of being in the world and imagine different destinies. Whether "we can care for others and save ourselves through respect for the fundamental rights of each person, especially those 'invisible' ones, who live on the margins of society or are discarded by it" (Malavasi, 2020). We are all involved in this process: both those who carry out educational and training activities and those who work in companies or services.
The programme presents insights into educational research, tools and methods, and then illustrates some evidence-based research conducted in the fields of prevention, empowerment and sustainable development.
A mapping activity of the competences required in eco-social works will be proposed with a comparison with the literature in the field.
Special attention will be given to the places chosen to cultivate eco-social skills
A digital narrative path will be proposed to the students to explore the sustainable self and contexts of action and at the same time experiment with a qualitative research device.
Readings aloud to environmental themes will be proposed during the course, aimed at supporting the mobilisation of skills required in eco-social works. - Obiettivi Agenda 2030 per lo sviluppo sostenibile
- The course fits in with the mission of the 2030 Agenda with a focus on mobilising skills for sustainability as outlined by Unesco, 2019.
