Prerequisites | None. |
Teaching methods | Frontal lessons with slides, exercises, seminars. |
Other information | In case a student intends to anticipate his/her exam in a year preceding the one it is scheduled in his/her curriculum, it is recommended to anticipate as well the attendance of the lessons and to schedule the exam in the first useful session after the lessons have been concluded. |
Learning verification modality | Each student will have to prepare the project of a learning unit (UDA), which will be evaluated by the teacher. UDAs made by groups of up to 3-4 students are admitted. The groups will have to prepare a UDA for both kindergarten and primary school. Individual students will have to prepare a UDA for kindergarten or, alternatively, for primary school. The project will be drawn up following the reference model for the preparation of the UDA, adopted by the degree program. In the evaluation, the teacher will evaluate the degree of compliance of the project with respect to the ministerial guidelines for the chosen school cycle; the degree of accuracy in the illustration of the historical-artistic references chosen; the congruence of the proposed activities, with respect to the ministerial guidelines and the consequent pedagogical and didactic objectives. The positive evaluation of the UDA will determine the attribution of an additional point to the grade obtained by the student in the History of Modern Art exam (8 CFU).¿ |
Extended program | The workshop will initially introduce the pedagogical value of an educational path capable of supporting and stimulating the sensitivity, emotional and creative intelligence and expressive freedom of the child, looking at the extraordinary opportunities for personal growth offered by the history of the arts, by practice art, from play and the relationship between citizenship and cultural heritage, following the ministerial guidelines for kindergarten and primary school. Afterwards, it will stimulate reflection on the many cognitive, educational, expressive and creative peculiarities, activated or stimulated by the study and practice of the arts, or on mandatory topics of research and work, such as those related to inclusion and special educational needs. In the third part of the path, a reflection invites us to keep alive the pedagogical and didactic centrality of the contact between individuals of all ages and the direct knowledge of works of art, focusing on the lived experience of personal experience, made up of emotions, curiosity , imagination and stimuli for knowledge; this is a current topic of reflection, since we live in the digital age, which by its nature tends to move away from direct experience with the art object, depriving the individual of the fundamental cognitive and educational stimuli guaranteed by the multiple activation of senses. Following, exemplary readings of methodological value will be proposed, which represent a vehicle of knowledge, training and stimulus to develop laboratory projects. These thematic readings - expressive, political-social, iconographic or cultural - offer the future teacher a pool of work to educate, stimulating knowledge, skills and competences in countless areas of knowledge, through the stimuli of curiosity, creativity, imagination. and the game. One last point concerns a very broad and current work theme, namely, that of the relationship between the school and the cultural institutions of a territory (museums, theaters, archaeological parks, archives, libraries, etc.), which in contemporary society play a fundamental role in supporting the educational mission - primary and central - of the school. In particular, the didactic mission of cultural institutions not only offers teachers an opportunity to carry out multiple projects in relation to their own territory, but are fundamental in educational dialogue between schools and families and more generally with the social community. |
