- Appropriate knowledge of literary and cultural history of the German speaking countries; good knowledge of German language.
- Teaching methods
- Frontal lessons, seminarial discussion, audio and video materials.
- Learning verification modality
- Final oral exam.

- Ingeborg Bachmann can be considered one one of the most important voices of contemporary poetry, but also author of important innovative prose writings and of profound theoretical and critical essays. During the course all these fields of the author's production will be stuided and situated in their historical, cultural and biographical context. For this purpose, the critical comments of the new Salzburger Bachmann Edition will be consulted.
