- The course introduces the concepts related to the Internet in relation to communication and journalism. The first part presents post-pandemic scenarios in the world of the web, focusing on digital content (texts, videos, audios and images); in the second, digital communication strategies are studied, especially by analyzing the processes related to the world of social media; in the third, the course focuses on the future of the web, both on its opportunities (especially in terms of the labor market) and on potential threats; finally, the course also includes a practical part (for attending students) in which students are put to the test with the design of an integrated communication plan (both off-line and on-line).

- At the end of the course the student will have acquired the ability to create multimedia contents (text, audio, video, photos); will be able to place them within the "right" social network according to the chosen online communication strategy. Furthermore, he will be able to manage communication campaigns for clients and for himself.
He will come into contact with new professional figures linked to the world of digitization. - Prerequisites

- Teaching methods
- Theoretical lessons and technical-practical exercises. Attending students will also carry out project work working in groups.
Some seminars with online communication professionals are planned. - Other information
- The teacher receives by appointment.
During the first semester from 11 to 13 every Friday morning.
During the second semester, contact the teacher to make an appointment. - Learning verification modality
- The course includes - for those who attend - some intermediate tests, the methods of implementation of which will be communicated by the teacher in class. However, there will be a final interview on a topic, agreed with the teacher, which will be presented in a multimedia essay.
For those who do not attend, there is a written test (with open questions) on the three texts indicated and on the handout prepared by the teacher and an oral interview always on the same texts and on the handout. It is advisable to contact the teacher via e-mail at least two months before the session in which you wish to take the exam. - Extended program

Students both individually and in small groups will be involved in the communication campaign of a cultural event that will take place in Perugia
