- Programme: 3 credits Course: The general theory of crime, the typical fact (the active subject, behavior, event and causal connection); the illegality (and exonerating cc.dd. typed in the code), the culpability (assumptions, malice, guilt, "preterintenzione", error, imputability and other causes of exclusion). The manifestation of crime (attempt, circumstances, people in the crime).

6 credits Course: The constitutional principle of legality (legal reservation, non-retroactivity, determination and "tassatività"). The general theory of crime: the typical fact (the active subject, behavior, event and causal connection); the illegality (and exonerating cc.dd. typed in the code), the culpability (assumptions, malice, guilt, "preterintenzione", error, imputability and other causes of exclusion). The manifestation of crime (attempt, circumstances, people in the crime, contest of crimes).

The constitutional principles: the principle of legality (legal reservation, non-retroactivity, determination and "tassatività"); of materiality and "offensività"; of culpability. The criminal law in the time and in the space. The general theory of crime: the typical fact (the active subject, behavior, event and causal connection); the illegality (and exonerating cc.dd. typed in the code), the culpability (presuppositions, malice, guilt, "preterintenzione", error, imputability and other causes of exclusion). The manifestation of crime (attempt, circumstances, people in the crime, contest of crimes). Criminal sanction, security measures and events of the punishment.
Course of 9 credits for the degree in Judiciary and Public Administration (from a.y. 2018-2019) General Part: Criminal law (introduction and functions). The constitutional principles: the principle of legality (legal reservation, non-retroactivity, determination and "tassatività"); of materiality and "offensività"; of culpability. The criminal law in the time and in the space. The general theory of crime: the typical fact (the active subject, behavior, event and causal connection); the illegality (and exonerating cc.dd. typed in the code), the culpability (presuppositions, malice, guilt, "preterintenzione", error, imputability and other causes of exclusion). - The course aims to provide a good knowledge of the principles and institutions of the general part of criminal law, as well as to develop student's ability to enhance and critically analyze the discipline. For the 9 credits course for the degree in Judicial Operator and of the Public Administration, it intends to provide to the student also an extremely basic, but unavoidable, view of the penal protection of the P.A, as recently amended.
Basic knwoledge students will be able to gain will be:
- Knowledge of the fundamental constitutional principles operating in criminal matters
- Knowledge of the discipline of the most important legal system of the general part of criminal law.
The main skills that allow students to apply the knowledge acquired will be:
- ability to understand legal texts and case law;
- critical thinking and evaluation autonomy in the analysis of controversial exegetic issues;
- ability to expose the knwoledge acquired, using appropriate technical language. - Prerequisites
- The student must have knowledge that derive him from having claimed the other exams in the years preceding the year in which he intends to take the examination of criminal law. Such knowledge are deemed useful in order to acquire a good command of legal language.

- Distance learning. Slides and video lessons online. Lectures in the second semester of the academic year 2019-2020.

- The test consists of an oral examination. The questions focus on the program as described by the teacher on the related tab. For the purposes of evaluation the subject knowledge, the reasoning ability, the logic of the argumentation and the learning of their teaching methodology will be emphasized. The duration of the test varies according to the trend of the same.
