- To provide students with the hermeneutical coordinates on the criminal phenomena concerning the magmatic frontier of the cybercrimes.

- The course can also be taken by the students of master's course in jurisprudence. For students taking, and for Erasmus students, the course the exam preparation can be differentiated. For working students, specific slides will be provided on both cybercrime and general criminal law, in order to facilitate the learning of the course content. - Learning verification modality
- The exam consists solely of the final oral examination, which involves a discussion-interview related to the topics covered during the course and further explored in the recommended texts.
The purpose of this examination is to assess the student's level of knowledge, comprehension, and synthesis abilities. Additionally, the interview will serve to verify the student's capacity to communicate the acquired knowledge in a methodical manner, with appropriate language and presentation skills.
The duration of the exam varies depending on the progress of the examination itself, and it typically begins with a question of the student's choice on a topic selected by the student, in order to put them at ease. - Extended program
- Introduction to criminal law with the illustration of the main institutions of the general part functional to the understanding of individual computer crimes. Examination
of the following cases contained in the penal code and in the special legislation: unauthorized access to a computer system; the other cases envisaged for the protection of computer security; damage to data and computer systems; computer fraud; theft of computer data and digital identity; unlawful data processing; online extortion; the various articulations of defamation, persecution and online pornography; Internet Provider liability; criminal relevance of fake news; liability of entities; artificial intelligence and criminal law.
